The church in Batey La Cejas is the heartbeat of the community.  With a recently installed solar power system, the church provides a much needed power source for the people to charge their cell phones, tablets and even some government issued laptops for school students to study. There is also outside lighting in the evenings and the children gather to play and do homework.  Without this, there is no individual electricity source or lights at night in the homes.  Exalt partnered with Pastor Polo and Maranatha Iglesia to refurbish the floors, repair and repaint the interior walls, provide new seating, add a new exterior door, and a new desk and chairs for the children's ministry.  We believe when the church is the center of the neighborhood, it provides God's necessary help, hope, and love to the people of the community.
