Willie and his family have lived in a one-room house at the entrance of the Casa Pastoral Mission House for years.

As a dedicated mission worker, Willie has served thousands of missionaries, but his dream has always been to build a home of his own.Years ago, he purchased land in La Romana, but without access to credit, he could only build one block at a time. After years of saving and donations, all he had was a foundation.

 

One day, he sent a message that gripped our hearts:

"I think you’re one of the few people who really care. If there’s any way you can help me finish my home, I would be so grateful."

Thanks to incredible support from our last golf tournament, we broke ground on December 1st. Today, the house is nearly complete—windows and doors are in, and we’re finalizing the kitchen and bathrooms. But the dream isn’t just a house. Willie’s wife, Misteria, fears leaving their current home due to deportation. They long for a safe place to raise their family and open a small store.

We need $3,500 to finish the project and provide essential furniture and mattresses.
